Happy Birthday to Me!!

It was Kylie's 1st Birthday and it was a busy one! We started off by going to Gymboree to play some music. After that we took a nap and then went over to Grandma and Grandpa Wood's house for some cake and ice cream. It was cute to see her eat her cupcake. She would take a little pinch out of it and then eat it. She didn't care for the frosting, just the cake. After opening presents, it was time to call it a night.

Kylie's First Steps

Kylie has been taking 1 or 2 steps for the past few days without realizing it, but tonight she knew what she was doing. If things are too far away, she still drops down to crawl, but she'll probably be running by her birthday next week.

New Pictures

Since it has been almost a month since the last post, I thought I better take some pictures this weekend. Kylie is almost 1 year old and we can't believe how fast the year has gone. Now she is crawling all over the place, standing up and even starting to take a few steps on her own (even though she hasn't realized it yet). Her personality is really starting to come out (along with all of her toys and books she drags out all over the floor). She loves music and starts to dance along and clapping her hands. We started her in Gymboree to socialize and Jennifer is taking her to the musical class on Wednesdays this summer. She refuses to eat baby food, instead wanting a bite of whatever you are eating. Thank you to Aunt Amber, Uncle Chris and cousin Audrey for letting us borrow the Zebra. As you can see, she is already loving it. In one of the pictures you can see the 2 bottom teeth. Right now we are up to 5, 2 on bottom and 3 on top. Well enough of the thoughts and on to the pictures.

Kylie is enjoying her Easter Present from Uncle Chris, Aunt Amber and Audrey. She claps and dances to the music and has gotten faster pushing it through the house. I'm sure that all the practice will mean that we will be walking soon.

Aunt Jackie and Cousin Larissa stopped by. She liked having a puppy (Big Boy) in the house.

Since the last post, Kylie has gotten 3 teeth (two on bottom and one on top). She locks down her jaws so we are still trying to get a picture...haha
